BAG PARISIAN LUXURY FOR LESS
Several great Parisian fashion designers have opened outlet stores in Paris where their collections are sold a year after they have first come out- usually at half price. In the Marais, the boutique of Azzedine Alaïa welcomes clients in its little shop rue de Moussy The stock is renewed regularly and includes clothing, shoes and accessories by the famous Tunisian designer.
Another renowned international label is Sonia Rykiel, which has long been popular with fans at its large outlet boutique in the 14th arrondissement. The previous year’s collections can be found at knock-down prices: knitwear, black, etc. Created in 1956 for Brigitte Bardot, the ultra famous Repetto ballerina pumps still disappear quickly on arrival in the shop Côté danse de Repetto. You’ll also find moccasins, boots, trainers and other end-of-series footwear sold at 40 to 50% discount.
For children’s wardrobes, go to the Bonpoint clearance shop, the upscale elegant and classic brand that has been dressing 0-16s since it was founded in 1975. You’ll find printed blouses, thick woolly pullovers, velvet trousers, sheepskin items and other items from the previous year reduced by 30%.
